Our journey begins with the meticulous cultivation of truffles and exotic mushrooms. We take pride in our inoculated truffle trees, which are nurtured in our advanced laboratories using cutting-edge techniques. These trees are available for purchase both individually and in larger quantities, enabling enthusiasts and commercial growers alike to embark on their own truffle farming adventures. Our state-of-the-art facilities ensure that each tree is infused with the finest truffle spores, guaranteeing a successful and rewarding harvest. The sale of these inoculated trees contributes significantly to our revenue, supporting our mission and growth.
Beyond truffles, we also specialize in the production of exotic mushrooms. Our journey starts in our advanced lab in Lalbenque, France, where we produce spores for various mushrooms, including Black and White Truffles, Lion's Mane, Turkey Tail, Chaga, Reishi, Cordyceps, and Shiitake. These spores are essential for our growth and enable us to cultivate a diverse range of high-demand products.
Inoculating trees with truffle spores is a crucial step. We inoculate Holm Oak and White Oak trees with Black and White Truffle spores in our lab to ensure a symbiotic relationship. We plan to inoculate over 1 million trees this year, half of which will be sold to local farmers, while the rest will be used in our production. These trees mature in 4-5 years, with increasing yields as their root systems develop.
Truffles thrive in calcareous soil rich in calcium with an alkaline pH of 7.5 to 8.5. Our farms in Lalbenque offer the ideal conditions for organic truffle production. We aim to plant 1.1 million trees over the next two years, expecting to generate over €350 million in annual revenue by 2029. Our lab capabilities also support the innoculation and planting of White Truffles across New Zealand and South Africa
Our simple yet effective model involves acquiring more land, inoculating more trees, and expanding cultivation each year. By purchasing at least two new farms annually until 2029, we maintain a sustainable production cycle, boosting yields and ensuring long-term sustainability.
Starting in mid 2024, our new lab will inoculate around 1.1 million trees annually. We plan to sell half of these, including Black and White Truffle agricultural-grade shoots, generating over €31 million in annual revenue by 2026.
We are investing in solar-powered growth pods for year-round cultivation of medicinal mushrooms like Lion's Mane, Turkey Tail, Chaga, Reishi, Cordyceps, and Shiitake. Located on our farms in France and Ireland, these pods will allow weekly harvesting and processing into health supplements, with projected annual revenue exceeding €204 million by 2029.
Our mushrooms are dried, milled, mixed with natural ingredients, and pressed into capsules at our new processing facility in Ireland. These supplements are packaged and distributed globally, providing the health benefits of these potent fungi.
We harvest Black and White Truffles annually, using 80% in our health products and selling the remaining 20% directly to the market. Outsourcing the harvesting process helps reduce operational costs.
Our unique farm management program ensures consistent quality, with a farm manager overseeing operations and outsourced maintenance reducing operating costs by about 72%. Our farms in France, Spain, Ireland, New Zealand, and South Africa support our commitment to combating climate change through sustainable practices. By joining Lalbenque Farms, you contribute to a sustainable and profitable future in the gourmet and health food industries.
